Stuart Glenn Rish Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stuart Glenn Rish of Mount Moriah, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Stuart departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stuart may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Stuart leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn D. Rish and Noma L. Whitehead Rish. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Kimberly Rish, Derek Rish (Courtney), Dylan Rish and Mike Rish; his granddaughter Heaven Wright; and his brother Phil Rish (Ruth).

Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
