He is survived by: his wife Irma Jean Johnson; his grandchildren, Kristen (Joshua), Allison, Madison and Autumn; his son James (Carla); his grandchildren, Tyrell and Jalen; his child Adrian; his grandchildren, AJ, Alaisja, Gabriel, Ajaden, Kendell, Ginger and August; his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Simmons, Carolyn Rogers, Vevelyn Simmons and Diane Simmons; his close friends, Patrick Patterson and Henry Pulling; and his brother-in-law Eddie Rogers. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
