She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Salkill and Amanda Salkill (Andrus); her husband Homer Glen Yount; her daughter Glenda Yount; and her brothers, Loren, Rudolph, Robert and Willard Salkill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Myra Barnes (Frank) of Mt. Vernon and Laura Giles (Kelly) of Republic, Missouri; her brother Carroll Salkill of Aurora, Missouri; her granddaughters, Sara Yount of Mt. Vernon, Anna Bishop (Adam) of Mt. Vernon, Emma Collings of Republic and Erin Giles of Republic; and her great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Josh, Ava, Vincent and Ethan.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wade Chapel Cemetery.
