It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Edward Meirick of Mount Vernon, Missouri, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Meirick and Agnes Rose Meirick (Miller); his stepson Jason McGaugh (Rocky); his brothers, Joe, Bob, Herb and Dave Meirick; and his brother-in-law Mart Spradling.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Meirick (Renfro); his sons, Zane Meirick, Rafe Meirick (Libby) and Cody Meirick; his foster son Steven Gradney (Megan); his siblings, Carolyn Spradling of Springfield, Kaye Woods (Walter) of Stotts City and Jane Nelson (Glenn) of Mt. Vernon; and his sisters-in-law, Klista Meirick, Linda Meirick, Judy Meirick and Joanie Meirick. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
