He was predeceased by: his mother Flossie Catherine Twyford (Cloud); his sisters, Carol Lowery and Nina Brashers; and his nephew Chad Twyford. He is survived by: his siblings, Margie Simerly of Marionville, Mary McMahan (Clarence) of Strafford, Cathy Sybert (James) of Aurora, Faye Cauthon (Steve) of Camdenton, Missouri, Larry Twyford (Susie) of Bucyrus, Robert Twyford of Marshalltown and Charlie Wilsey of Stilwell, Oklahoma; and his brother-in-law Freddie Brashers of Marionville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Shriner's Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
