He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie William and Ruth Armalee Lawrence (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Larry D. Lawrence of Olathe, Joshua Lawrence of Clermont, Zachary Lawrence of Stotts City, Missouri, Angie Gerady of Lancaster, Amanda Lawrence of Atchison and Kaitlin Jirik of Aurora, Missouri; and his siblings, Chuck Lawrence of Cleo Springs, Andy Lawrence of Horton, Mike Lawrence of Atchison, Joe Lawrence of Atchison, Kansas, Kathy Madere of Mt. Vernon, Peggy Lawrence of Horton and Brenda Birchfield of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.
