Raymond A. Spree Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Raymond A. Spree of Mount Vernon, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Raymond left this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Spree and Louise Spree (Bracht); and his siblings, Reverend Floyd Spree, Elmer Spree, Florence Voskamp and Alice Kleiboeker.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Fellwock; his children, David Spree (Jean) of Mt. Vernon, MO and Tammie Kassel of Mt. Vernon, MO; his grandchildren, Joshua Spree, Elizabeth Barrett (Travis), Megan Souders (Justin), Seth Kassel and Hope Kassel; his sister Gladys Dieckhoff of Diamond, MO; his sisters-in-law, Linda Spree of Republic, MO, Verna Korff of Sarcoxie, MO and Lois Gaddy (Jim) of Mt. Vernon, MO; and his close friend Sam Birkenbach. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (207 Main St, Freistatt, MO 65654). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Lutheran World Relief.
