Susan Appelquist Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Appelquist of Mount Vernon, Missouri, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Appelquist and Martha Appelquist; and her husband Loren R. Honecker. She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Craig (Joe) of Rogers, AR, Carol Sheppard (Bob) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Nancy Allen (Randall) of Springfield, MO and John Appelquist of Springfield, MO.; her nieces and nephews, Sarah Lamberth, Yancey Craig, Matthew Sheppard, Meredith Sims, Elizabeth Dase, Benjamin Allen, Mallory Bacon and Martha Susan Allen; her stepdaughters, Catherine Honecker Galdonik and Elizabeth Honecker Reagan; and her friend George Schwandt. She is also survived by 9 great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the following scholarships benefitting aspiring college students from Mount Vernon and Miller, MO.
