In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Schmidly; his parents, Arthur Schmidly and Una Schmidly; and his grandson Dustin Schmidly. He is survived by: his children, Scott Schmidly and Kim Perry; and his grandchildren, Ellie Jones, Spencer Perry and Paige Hulbert.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chesterfield Church (1220 W Chesterfield St, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Life (2220 W Chesterfield St, Springfield, MO 65807). A burial was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
