She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbridge Carter and Marie Carter (Long); her siblings, Doris Reed, Bee Turner and Elbridge Carter Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche Crewse and Gail Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Watson; her children, Donna Watson Prouty (Gary), Terry Watson and Timothy Watson (Violet); her brother Gene Carter; and her sister-in-law Nellie Ketel. She is also survived by forty-two grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Willow Springs Cemetery.
