He is survived by: his parents, Mike Benson and Karen Benson (Dugger); his wife Bobbi; his children, Luke, McKenzie and Bryson; his sister Amanda Rhoads (Josh); his grandparents, Don of Hartville and Naomi Dugger of Hartville; his stepgrandmother Katherine Benson of Mountain Grove; his mother-in-law Renea McCray; and his brother-in-law Bo McCray (Jamie) of Ringwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

The family has requested that donations be made in memory of Brent to Camp Calvary in c/o Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
