As we bid adieu to Doris' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Doris has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hayden and Wilma Lucille Sullivan (Wedge). She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Meier, Shawn McDonald and Jon Smith; her sister Bonnie Jones of Mount Pleasant; and her stepbrother Paul Holland of Springfield, Missouri.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of a service or flowers, Doris wished for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
