He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard and Bertha Pauline Turley (Bartlet); his children, Floyd Turley, Barbara Turley and Juanita Turley; his granddaughter Breanna Shannon; and his sister June Calhoun.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Turley; his children, James Turley, Jr. of Sedalia, Michael Turley of Mountain Grove, Sally Cook (Dale) of Marshfield, Karol Nagy (Jesse) of Mountain Grove, Casondra Garrison (Joe) of Mountain Grove, Angela Evans of Springfield, Valerie Barnum of Springfield, Sherry Turley of Springfield and Gina Davidson of Liberty; his siblings, Carl Turley (Kay) of Mansfield, Bobby Turley (Angie) of Ava, Rick Turley (Syrene) of Hartville, Paul Turley (Jenny) of Mansfield and Joanne Murray of Lebanon; and his cousin Kelly Taylor. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
