With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Ellis (Mountain Grove, Missouri), who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Bates and Mintha Bates (Reed); her husband Roy Ellis; her siblings, Lee, Jesse Bates and Hazel Walters; and her grandchild Christy Ellis.
She is survived by : her grandchild Pat; her children, Jesse Ellis (Linda) of Hollister, Lee Ellis (Ruth) of Springfield and Pat Smyer (Ron) of Bendavis; her brother Bob Bates (Betty) of Hot Springs; and her grandchildren, Tonya Hardy, Bob Smyer, Steve Smyer, Jabon Ellis and Nathan Ellis. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
