He was predeceased by: his father David Affholder; his grandparents, Gene Curtis, Richard and Louise Affholder; and his uncle Chris Curtis.

He is survived by: his mother Tara Affholder (Curtis) of Mountain Grove; his son Kadin Affholder of Hartville; his grandmother Louise Curtis of Mountain Grove; his sister Kristin Gray (Jamon) of Norwood; his sibling's children, Hailey Hyde (Kyler), Addy Gray and Kolt Gray; and his great-nephews, Kohen Hyde and Kasen Hyde.
