He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh Dixon and Edna Dixon (Mosier); his former life partner Florence Dixon; his wife Roberta Dixon; his stepsons, Shelt Alsup and Dale Alsup; and his siblings, Albert, Vernon, Darwin, Alice and Lucy.

He is survived by : his former life partner Florence Hannan; and his stepsons, Dan Alsup (Jan) and Steve Alsup (Deb). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
