He was predeceased by : his wives, Beverly Ann Blauvelt and Mary Lou; his sisters, Roberta Eagle (Elmer) and Patricia Bullard (Donald); his sister-in-law Ina Ross (Richard); his daughter-in-law Martha Brewer (JoAnn); his grandson Geoffrey Ross; and his parents, Robert Albert and Sarah Mae Ross (Johnson).

He is survived by : his children, Robert "Rob" Ross (Jane), Gary Ross (Taunia), David Ross, Trebor Ross (Elizabeth), JoAnn Ross (Martha) and Shannon Kelso (Ernest); his stepdaughters, Laurie Kirby (Thomas) and Teri Gisi (Mark); his siblings, Ottilla Hicks (Ray) and Richard Ross (Janice); and his sister-in-law Dala Tamayo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
