He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ropte and Helen Ropte (Brattmiller); and his brother Marcus. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Brock (Timothy) of Prairie Grove and Mary Lou Hiltabidle (Tom) of Eagle Grove; and his siblings' children, Erika Stolzer (Forrest) of Prairie Grove, Justin Brock (Kyleen) of Columbia, Matthew, Aaron and Melinda Hiltabidle of Eagle Grove.
