He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Louis Owens and Mayme Belle Owens (Holden); his sisters, Doris Jane Sparks and Mayme Deloris Wade; his siblings-in-law, Jim Sparks, Paul Wade and Wilma Vines (Fred Vines); his daughter-in-law Jacqulyn D'Ann Owens; his niece Sherry Meyer (Sparks); and his great-nephew Michael Sparks.
He is survived by: his sisters, Doris Jane and Thelma Louise Owens; his wife Bonnie Sue Sagerser Owens; his children, Tammy Blunk (James) of Mountain View, Teresa Shipley (Ted) of West Plains, Linda Cornman (Marc) of Mountain View, Willie Owens (Jolie) of Birch Tree and Eddie Owens of Mountain View; his sister Thelma Hill of Warsaw, MO.; his grandchildren, Scott Blunk (Kacey), Amanda Blunk, Nick Shipley, Lauren Laughary (Bradley), Kylie Quillian (Colby), Hailey Cornman, Zane Cornman (Leanna), Cale Cornman (Shelby), Zeb Cornman (Sadie), Lyla Fisher (Malacia), Daniel White (Rachel), Wyatt Owens (Kelsey), Jordan Owens, Logan Owens (Lillian), Téa Owens and Ruger Owens; and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Dallas Thomas, Colton, Weston Boyer, Leona Quillian, Lane, Brent Hood, Branch, Swayze, Dixie Cornman, Deacon, Sutton Cornman, Callum Fisher, Dean, Knox White, Reed, Walker Owens, John and Gideon Owens. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, church family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yarber Mortuary-Mountain View (621 E 5th St, Mountain View, MO 65548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Yarber Mortuary (621 E 5th St, Mountain View, MO 65548). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (3107 State Rte Ww, Mountain View, MO 65548).
