He is survived by: his sister Karen Nieweg (Kenny); his brother-in-law Gerald Syler; his sibling's children, Stephanie Wetzel (Reuben), Garret Syler (Staci), Kelly Beckner (Jeffry) and Kevin Nieweg (Jillian); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon (Emma), Nathan Wetzel (Livie), Austin Syler, Chase Syler, Lillian Beckner, Lacey Beckner and Lauranell Beckner.
