He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Benjamin and Josephine M. Smith (Kaufman); his children, Stanley Smith and Bryane; and his sister-in-law Sandy Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Bobbie Bohner (Robert) of Verona, Lenny Smith (Jaci George), Kelly Gresham (Jenny) of Tulsa and Kerry Weldon of Marietta, Oklahoma; his brother Ben Smith of Neosho, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Karyle Barnett (Jack) of Clarksville. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
