It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvin Wayne Hood of Neosho, Missouri, born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Hood and Stella Hood (Evans); his spouse Shirley White; his son Rick Hood; and his sons-in-law, Rick Plett and Jonathon Brobston.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hood (Vickie) of Inola, Rodney Hood (Margaret) of Wichita, Kansas, Penny Iness (Ken) of Wagoner, Stephanie Burks of Wichita and Tammie Brobston of Green Forest, Arkansas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
