He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Craig; his former wife Beverly Ryno Biss; his children, Wayne Jerome Biss and Beverly Denise Biss; and his brothers, James and Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lenore Redford; his children, Francis G Biss II of Neosho and Walter Robert Biss (Barbara) of Diamond, Missouri; his stepchildren, Robert DeVore (Monica) of Springfield, Angela Terry (Owen) of Red Bay and Rosemary Brackett of Joplin, Missouri; and his sister Theresa Biss Lock of New York.
