He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Elmer and Rita Belle McCrary (Thomas); his daughter Suanne Lane; his grandson Michael Sean Lane; and his siblings, Mercedes Smiley, Della Beatty, Robert, Donnie, Raymond and Billy McCrary.

He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his sons, Steven McCrary (Melinda) of Ft. Worth, TX and Tim McCrary (Laura) of Grove, OK; his sister Edith Parmley; his grandchildren, Sarah, Sheena, Sean McCrary, Jessica (Jeremy), Gaa, Jacob, Abigail, Hannah and Micah McCrary; and his great grandchildren, Dade, Ethan, Hudson and Isa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
