With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Ann Miller (Neosho, Missouri), born in Joplin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lay and Ina Lay (Callahan); and her sister Victoria Lay. She is survived by: her husband Gary Gordon Miller; her daughters, Michelle Mitchell (Tim) of Neosho, Missouri, Melissa Twente (Scott) of Springfield, Missouri and Melinda Simmons (Jason) of Carthage, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell (Melissa), Taylor Paulino (Joseph), Tanner Mitchell (Lauren), Talon Mitchell, Taigen Mitchell, Megan Beveridge (Corey), Katheryn Twente, Olivia Simmons, Ace Simmons, Quinn Simmons and Ezra Simmons; her great grandchildren, Carter Mitchell, Hadley Mitchell and Baby Boy Beveridge; her siblings, Jim Lay (Sheila) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kenneth Lay (Tracy) of Riverside, California, John Lay (Kelly) of Neosho, Missouri and Patricia Lay of Grove, Oklahoma; and her niece Katrina Trussler (Michael) of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 9875 Newman Ln, Neosho, MO 64850.
