He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander and Louise "Lizzie" Magdalena Paullus (Rott); and his brother Frank Paullus. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaine Paullus (Wilson); his children, Julie Alwardt (Mark) of Liberty Mounds and Jeff Paullus (Angie) of Neosho, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Justin Alwardt (Callie) of Jenks, Blake Alwardt (Riley) of Searcy, Carter Alwardt (Suzie) of Liberty Mounds, Emily Abell (Brett) of Neosho and Chris Paullus (Bailey) of Neosho, Missouri.; his great grandchildren, Rhett Alwardt (Justin), Addilyn Alwardt (Carter), Drake, Lorraine Abell (Emily) and Charlotte Paullus (Chris); and his sister-in-law Sharon Paullus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories (312 S Wood St, Neosho, MO 64850).
