He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Elmer Kemp and Joanne Kemp; his parents-in-law, Buddy and Ruth Bellamy; and his sisters-in-law, Stacy Bellamy and Linda Kemp.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Kemp of Neosho, Missouri; his children, Josh Kemp (Tanya) of Batesville, Seth Kemp (Jinger) of Fayetteville, Jesse Kemp (Sarah) of Neosho and Michael Kemp (Ashley) of Springfield, Missouri; his siblings, Scott Kemp of Abilene, Barbara Kemp of Azle, Becky Kemp Freeman (Kent) of Justin and Bailey Kemp of Keeter, Texas; his grandchildren, Noah, Lilyanne, Cora, Sam, Joy, Shiloh, Hazel and Sophie; and his sister-in-law Cindy Bellamy of Ardmore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lyon College.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arc of the Ozarks Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center or Sunshine Industries Group Home.
