She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Kern-Still and Lois Kern-Still (Curtis); and her husband Reverend Jack Henry Austin. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Alverson (James "J. D." Alverson), Beverly Joy Benner (Cameron Benner) and Julie Austin Bates (Jerry Bates); her grandchildren, Carlenna Brattin, Caysha Jones, Nathan Alverson, Lydia Smith, Amy Evans, Cierra Benner, Jared Alverson and Eliana Bates; and her siblings, Larry Kern and Reta Durbin.
