He was predeceased by: his parent Jane Koehler; and his aunts and uncles, Judy, Marjorie Koehler, George and Richard Koehler.

He is survived by: his son Jarrod Koehler; his brothers, Paul Riggin, David LaMothe and Stephen Koehler; his uncle James Duree; his close friend Deana Plimmer; and also Daren McCormack.
