She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Willis Thurman and Martha Gibson Thurman; and her brother Richard Thurman. She is survived by: her siblings, Roy Thurman (Linda) of Granby, Dan Leonard (Carol) of Neosho, Missouri and Cindy Middaugh of Neosho, Missouri; her fiancé Richard Johnson; and her aunts, Donna Thurman of Joplin, Brenda Wheeler of Neosho and Lily Bass of Diamond, Missouri..
