It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Whitaker of Neosho, Missouri is shared. Robert, born on June 18, 1934, passed away on June 12, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Whitaker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Veda Whitaker (Wallis) and Henry Whitaker; his sisters, Ruth Peabody and Carol Summers; his niece Lisa McGuire; his siblings-in-law, Ted Peabody and Margaret Prell; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Fay Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred Bostick, Joan Watson and Darrell Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Koleta; his children, Brenda Barrett (Tim) of Columbus, KS and Curtis Whitaker (Gwen) of Conroe, TX.; his brother Arthur Prell of Pearl River, LA; and his siblings-in-law, Summers of Springdale, AR and Texalee Smith of Paola, KS.. He is also survived by grandchildren (5) and great-grandchildren (6), loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Gideons International and the Radio Bible Class, in care of the mortuary.
