He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Ray and Tessie Ray (Reed); and his brothers, Bob Ray and Leon Ray. He is survived by: his children, Jason Ray (Caroline), John Carroll (Lynn), Robin Vance (Tom), Dena Carroll, Lynn Spor (Louis) and Joe Carroll (Dena); and his siblings, Mary Harris (Melvin), Norma Gibson, Luther Ray (Rowena), Mike Ray (Terri), Joyce Bacon (Charles) and Linda Welch. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
