Verlin Ray Snider Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verlin Ray Snider of Neosho, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Verlin Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Verlin Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Snider and Sarah Snider (Little); his sister Fay Davis; his son Richard Snider; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Snider.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Lindle Snider (Bobbi) and Shirley West (late Jim); and his sons, Mike (Margie), Alan (late Dawn) and Steve (Laura). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
