Though Wilma Eva may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilma Eva touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry W. Rion and Della M. Rion (Burch); her husband Cecil A. Hammer; and her son-in-law Thomas Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Mike Hammer of Wellsville, Missouri and Debra Mitchell of Jefferson City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Jeneca Lea Luckey (Dru) of Largo and Ryan Thomas Mitchell (Ashton) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Madilynn Rion Mitchell of Buffalo and Montanna Sue Mitchell of Jefferson City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and her kind neighbors.
In honor of Wilma's love for the outdoors and her fondness for Morse Park, contributions may be made in her memory to help beautify the park.
