We announce the death of Alvin Yokley of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 77. Alvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yokley and Wanda Yokley; and his wife Vicki Yokley. He is survived by: his children, Brian Yokley (Christy) of Gardner, Kansas, Amy and Carrie; his grandchildren, Cale and Ava; and his brothers, Dan Yokley of Neosho and Steve Yokley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Antioch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the University of Kansas Medical Center in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
