She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred M. and Mary C. Smith (Hollis); her former husband Charles E. Trosper; her husband Vernon Carrel; her son Eddie Trosper; her siblings, Robert Smith and Josephine Johnson; and her stepchildren, Patsy Franklin and Lawrence Carrel.
She is survived by: her daughter Maude Thorne (Bill) of Lone Jack, MO; and her sister Betty Fyock of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
