He is survived by: his siblings, David Friar (Janet) and Patricia Langford (Kent) of Stockton; and his children, Stephanie Stahl (Jason) of Lamar, Trey Friar (Leslie) of Lockwood and Treven Friar of Nevada. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
