With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darlene Doolin (Nevada, Missouri), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Darlene left this world on July 4, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Holland and Nora Alline Holland (Beshore); her siblings, Pauline Geyer and Charles Holland; her daughter Debbie Hudson; and her great grandchild Blake Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Leininger and Daniel Doolin (Lori); and her son-in-law Michael Hudson of Milo, MO. She is also survived by her parents and 3 siblings, her husband and 3 children, and especially her 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Scott National Cemetery (900 E National Ave, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
