It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Charles Hyder of Nevada, Missouri, born in Petaluma, California, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lee and Retta Mae Hyder (Rowland); and his brother Virgil Eugene Hyder. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Nadine Clawson; his children, Tim Hyder (Stephanie) of Hume, MO, Tammy Hays (Andy) of Nevada, Tracy Shumaker (John) of Nevada and Travis Hyder of Nevada; and his siblings, Dan Hyder (Cathy), Duane Hyder (Barbara) of Springfield, MO, Susie Clawson (Delbert) of Joplin, MO, Maggie Grissom of Liberal, MO, Peggy Dunfield of Jasper, MO, Winona Hyder of Lamar, MO and Stephanie Siebert of Lamar, MO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
