She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnie Ferd Kasper and Vinieta Ethel Merkey; her husband Rick Covey; her siblings, Karen Koehn and John Kasper; and her nephew Reno Kasper.

She is survived by: her children, Juanita Covey (Timothy) of Nevada, Jaimie Covey of Nevada and LeRoy Covey of Nevada; her grandchildren, Zowie Gurley (John Moss) of Appleton City, MO, Landon Gurley of Appleton City, MO and Logan Gurley of Appleton City, MO; and her siblings, Ethel Koehn (Monroe) of Moundridge, KS, Pearl Kasper of Nevada, MO and Bruce Kasper (Kathy) of Weatherford, Oklahoma..
