Estil Herman Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Estil Herman Thompson of Nevada, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Perry and Minnie Thompson (Saathoff); and his siblings, Jennie Jadlot, Margaret Ketterman, June Flint, Amerman Thompson and Enis Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Rogers; his children, Steven Thompson (Mary), Carmen Arnold of Lamar, MO and Denise Thompson of Lamar, MO; and his grandchildren, John, Mallory, Lauren, Holly and Cheri. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Newton Burial Park (311 W Highland Ave, Nevada, MO 64772).
Memorial contributions are suggested in his name to the Nevada Elks c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
