She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ira and Geneva Marie Brown (Wright); and her daughter Lori Hunt. She is survived by: her husband Ammon M. Hizer; her grandchildren, Colton Caldwell (Courtney) and Erica Caldwell (Levi Dipman); and her great grandchildren, Gunner, Moe, Max and Marly of Lamar, MO.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in Marlene's memory to the Nevada Public Library in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
