It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floris Slates of Nevada, Missouri, born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sons, Leonard Slates (late Linda Slates) and Max Slates (Toni); her grandchildren, Ashley White and Benton Slates (Sam); her great grandchildren, Ryelyn, Oaklyn White, Harper, Elaina and Morrigan Slates; her husband Frank Slates; her son Freddie Dwayne Slates; her parent Fay Emery; her sister Dortha Jantz; and her daughter-in-law Linda Slates.
