He was predeceased by: his parents, George, Sr. Yarn and Sadie Yarn (Montgomery); his spouse Shirley Yarn; and his son Mark Yarn. He is survived by: his children, Roger Yarn (Juanita) of Atlanta, GA, Connie Olsen (Roger) of Houston, TX and Laura Longhurst (Alan) of Salt Lake City, UT. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-children.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Richland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Youth Group in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
