Gilbert Willson Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Gilbert Willson of Nevada, Missouri. Gilbert, born on November 30, 1941, passed away on October 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Willson and Anna Mae Willson (Kessler); his children, Debbie Wheatley (Debbie) and Rob Willson (Rob); his sisters, Joyce Emory and Freda Raabe; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Emory, Walt Jacks, Raymont Hunt and Gary Comstock.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his granddaughters, Kelsey Bailey (Mikel), Emily Willson, Breanne Willson and Claire Willson; his siblings, Dee Jacks, Ruby Forkner (Everett), Peggy Hunt, Mary Ellen Comstock and Janet Nichols (Gary); and his cousin Eugene Story (Karen).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Gilbert requested donations to Marvin Chapel Cemetery c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
