With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Newton of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo William and Ruby Scott (Hill); and her sisters, Kay Schnedler and Fay Tracy. She is survived by: her children, Lesley Beisley (Russell), Sheldon and David Berten (Brenda); her grandchildren, Tiffany Moore (Blake), Sharleen Wood (Kris), Chanci Beisley, Dakota Berten (Tisha), Lacie Haskins (Anthony), Ricky Berten (Mia) and Michael Berten (Danielle); and her close friend George Range. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested in her name to Vernon County Cancer Relief in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
