He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earnest and Daisy Irene Swait (Felton); his former wife Beverly K. Scism; his wife Jodene Ketchum; and his siblings, Nellie Hall and Earnie Swait.
He is survived by: his sons, Darrin Swait of Springfield, MO and Kevin Swait (Kimberly) of Freistatt, MO; his grandchildren, Joshua Swait of Springfield, Hannah Swait-DeWeese of Springfield, Jeremy Swait of Norman, OK and Ashlyn Wools of Girard, KS; and his great grandchildren, Cohen, Ali, Kynsli, Catherine, Jocelyn, Griffin, Parker and Spencer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
