With sadness, we share the passing of Janice Rozann Schiebrel of Nevada, Missouri. Janice, born on October 7, 1942, passed away on June 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Carpenter and Ruby Carpenter (Carroll); her stepfather Paul Everson; her siblings, Jack, Jerry Carpenter and Neoma Mauer; her grandson Austin Brown; and her nephews, Jackie Dale Carpenter and Lewis "Lewie" Mauer.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Yockey of Nevada, Missouri, Shawn Yockey of Nevada, Missouri, Candy Yockey (Slade) of Nevada, Missouri and Cory Yockey of Nevada, Missouri; her grandchildren, Zack Yockey of Springdale, Kira Brown of Springfield and Drew Yockey of Joplin, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Holdyn Brown of Nevada and Eileen Brown of Springdale, Arkansas; and her siblings, Leslie Carpenter (Barbara) of Appleton City, Eva Ballard (Seldon) of Ponca City, Wanda Otto of Kansas City and Linda Shindler of Overland Park, Kansas.

Memorial donations are suggested to Appleton City Library and may be left at Hill & Son Funeral Home.
