Jeanne Craig Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Craig of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jeanne had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jeanne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Makinen and Fannie Makinen (Leppanen); her husband Don; her daughter Linda Craig; and her sisters, Elvira Stoltz and Dottie Carlson.

She is survived by: her children, Jay Craig (Maryann) of Pooler, GA and Sandra "Sam" DeLaney (Larry). She is also survived by numerous grand-children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
