He was predeceased by : his parents, Clemens Ast and Agnes Ast (Hermes); his siblings, Gary Ast, Larry Ast and Etheldreda Hartman; and his great grandchild Kaidlyne Ast.

He is survived by : his wife Ann Marie (Schulte); his children, Kevin Ast (Christy), Krista Fish (Joe), Kora Anderson (Jake), Kurt Ast (Misty Caldwell), Kelly Ast (Michelle), Kendall Ast (Terrin), Kyle Ast (Tracy), Kerry Ast (Amanda), Kimberly Hanson (Derek), Kaila Earnest (Justin) and Klemens Ast (Amanda); and his siblings, Thomas Ast, Virgil Ast, Daryl Ast of Nevada, MO, Clemens Ast of Wichita, KS, Theodore Ast of Garden Plain, KS, Cecil Ast of Conway Springs, KS, Cletus Ast of Conway Springs, KS, Shirlene Hommertzheim of Wichita, KS, Lorraine Jeter of Wichita, KS and Sharon Holsinger of Shawnee, KS. He is also survived by his wife and children, LeRoy is survived by 29 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
